Traditional Oak Roll Top Desk

The desk pictured was a bespoke commission, made from European Oak designed and configured to suit a clients specification.

The desk was hand crafted with a fully traditional machined tambour roll top (no cloth backing). With raised and fielded panels on all sides throughout, the desk can be positioned in any direction whilst keeping its fine furniture appearance even from the rear. The desk incorporates hand cut dovetail draws and traditional pull out writing boards on both sides. 

The price displayed is to give an example of the cost in creating a new solid oak desk, incorporating these traditional techniques and styles.
