Wooden Segmented Lamp

This elegantly crafted lamp is constructed from hand-cut sapele end grain segments, accented with maple and walnut collar rings.

The different sized segments are carefully glued into rings before being joined together. After curing, the piece is turned by hand on a lathe into a vase-shaped desktop lamp.

Once sanded and polished the textured end grain of the sapele creates a stunning golden sheen . The lamp holder features a brass bayonet design with a copper-colored cable and a rewireable fused three-pin plug.
